Privacy policy
What we collect, what we do with it, and what you can ask us to do about it.
1. The short version
BrokerProReview is a read-only publication. There are no reader accounts, we ask for no identity details, and we hold no client funds. You can read everything on this site without giving us any personal data.
2. What we collect
a. Visit statistics. We use analytics to see which pages are read and roughly where readers come from. This arrives in aggregate: page views, device type, referring source, and an approximate country- or city-level location. We do not use it to identify individuals.
b. On-site search terms. If you use the search box, your query appears in the results page URL and is recorded in visit statistics as part of that URL. Do not type personal information into the search box.
c. Email you send us. If you write to us, we receive your address and your message, and keep them only as long as needed to deal with the matter.
d. Browser storage. The site writes a single flag to your browser’s sessionStorage so a notice you dismissed does not reappear in the same session. It is cleared when you close the tab, is never sent to our servers, and contains no personal data.
3. What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent visitor data to anyone.
- We do not build individual advertising profiles of readers.
- We never ask for identity documents, account numbers, or KYC paperwork — if someone claiming to be us asks for those, it is not us.
4. Third-party services
The site runs on the following services, which process technical data such as IP address and browser type as part of delivering it:
- Vercel — hosting and aggregate visit statistics.
- Supabase — storage for articles and broker data. It holds editorial content, not reader data.
- Google Analytics — used only where configured. It sets cookies and processes visit data on Google’s servers.
You can block cookies in your browser settings. Doing so does not stop you reading anything on this site.
5. Links to broker sites
This site links to broker websites, some of them affiliate links. Once you click through, your data is handled under that broker’s privacy policy, not this one. Brokers typically set their own tracking to record where a signup came from. All we receive is the fact that a signup originated here — never your name, email, balance, or trading activity. 6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict its processing, and to withdraw consent you previously gave. Readers in the EU and UK have these rights under the GDPR and UK GDPR; readers in Indonesia have equivalent rights under Law No. 27 of 2022 on Personal Data Protection.
Because we run no account system, in most cases we hold nothing tied to you personally beyond an email you sent us yourself. To make a request, write to contact@brokerproreview.com.
7. Children
This site is intended for adult readers. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone below the age of majority where they live.
8. Changes to this policy
When this policy changes, the review date below is updated. Substantive changes will be flagged on this page.
